چکیده
Introduction/Background The aim of this study was to perform a diagnostic accuracy evaluation the International OvarianTumor Analysis (IOTA) – Assessment Different NEoplasias in adneXa (ADNEX) model for diagnosis borderline ovarian tumours (BOT). Methodology A retrospective patients who underwent gynaecological surgery between 2012 and 2022 with previous adnexal mass by transvaginal ultrasound at tertiary referral university hospital specific oncological unit. Sociodemographic data, information, pathological findings were retrieved from patient’s medical records. IOTA ADNEX used estimate probability benignancy or malignancy (borderline, stage I, stages II-IV, metastatic) threshold 10%. Definitive pathology reference standard used. Sensitivity, specificity, positive (PPV) negative predictive values (NPV), likelihood ratios (LR) calculated. Results total 757 had report. identified 586 (77.6%) masses as benign 171 (22.4%) malignant. Of those malignant, 64 (37.4%) model, 18 (28%) BOT. These women mean age 39 (±) 17 years, 11 (73%) premenopausal, their median CA 125 115 32 U/mL sensitivity, PPV, NPV, LR(+) LR(-) 72%, 68%, 28%, 93%, 2.28 0.40, respectively BOT Conclusion This showed that has good sensitivity diagnosing our center. However, its regular performance ratio could suggest need incorporate additional variables findings.
